Here it is...
Bio:
My name is Maranatha Baca, for short Mara-May*. I am 25 years young living it up in Central Cali. with my husband Tim and adorable little guy Timmy. I am an amateur photographer who dreams of her own studio near the beach. I
scrapbook because I love it. I have always been an artist ever since I
was young. I would look forward to Fridays (art day). I especially
loved when we would use chalk. I remember as a child having numerous
sticker books and stationary sets. I loved keeping little pieces of
memorabilia in small boxes that I had decorated. To this day I still
have some of it. In high school my binders were always covered in
pictures, magazine clippings, and lots of doodling. So with all of that
how could I not become a scrapbooker. It was destiny. Ha Ha Ha. My
style I would have to say is trendy and fun. I love keeping up with all
of the latest and greatest and most of all making a page that makes me
smile. Inspiring to me is anything that uses lots of color. I love
bright and bold! My favorite colors to use would be black, white,
sometimes pink, and a splash of turquoise. Favorite product, alpha
stickers and black rub-ons. Favorite line, anything K.I. Memories.
1.How long have you been scrapping and what do you find so addicting?
I have been serious about scrapbooking since 2004. All the new product is what keeps me coming back for more. HeeHeeHee

3. What are your top five favorite products you couldn't live without?
Hmmmm 1.Patterned Paper (of course) 2.Alpha Stickers 3.Flowers 4.Brads 5.Rub-ons
4. Are there any scrapbookers you really like?
Most Definitely! #1 I'd have to say Adrienne Looman. She is so amazing and just awe inspiring. 2. Elsie (duh) She's just so so ELSIE (ha!) 3. I ADORE Heather Burch that woman has got some AMZAING talent when I grow up I wanna scrap just like her! :) 4. Celine Navarro this chick is taking over scrapbooking. She blows me away. The things she does are so different and colorful I wanna eat everything she's made! YUM!
5. So what have you been up to lately? Any great scrapbook projects?
Well I like to consider all of my layouts "great scrapping projects" HaHaHa I've just been busy creating layouts for different teams that I'm desgining for and making pages to try out for other teams. I'm dying to make an acrylic album though. :)

M: geesh. i really think i have scrapped my whole life. when my husband
and I were dating i really got into it. then when my kids were born, it was my
daily creative/ stress relief outlet. its oh so addicting. Seriously, its one
of those things where it snowballs my thoughts. everywhere i turn i see color
ideas or funky prints ..its just a way of life and a good one at that!
RDG : What do you like about the Rouge de Garance products?
M: that they are so fresh, full of life, and color...hands down.

RDG : Do you have any Scrapbook artists that you really like?
M : oh i admire lots of peoples work. I am constantly blown away by
ideas that people come up with. I love that people share their art for all to
drool over.
RDG : So what have you been up to lately? any great scrapbook projects?
M: i have been submerged in moving. My normal scrap area and supplies
are in storage for 5 months until we get settled in Ventura, ca. Sad sad sad. I
am surviving off of a huge moving box full of my favorite goodies. i am
thinking it will make for some cool projects to come though.people say that
less is more right?
One i am working on is a
transistion journal about our move from Kauai to Ca....its chalked full of
randomness and i love that!
and another is a lucky
card stack. My first one was started on "the luckiest day of the
year" 7-7-07. My goal is to alter cards everyday for a year , simlilar to
what alot of people are already doing, and focus on the things that make me one
lucky mama.
thank you so much Michelle for being our Guest Designer! We just LOOOOOVE

Hi everyone!
It's already Summer and we, at Rouge de Garance, have so many things in store for you this summer!
Our new line is called Aile ou Fleur (which means Wing or Flower). Why this name? Because it is the name of a Victor Hugo's poem that truely inspired Carole to create these papers.
Here's a layout that I made using these beautiful papers...
We're going to have Guest Designers from July on ! Be prepared to be inspired!
Our first July designer is one SUPER talented girl, you'll LOVE what she has created with some Rouge de Garance products!
I'll spill the bean real soon! :)
And we're working on a gallery for our DT members... These girls are so amazingly talented!
In the meantime, if you have layouts using RDG products, feel free to email us the scans, so that we FEATURE YOU on our blog and in the gallery! Send your emails to : celine.n@rougedegarance.com
Have a greazt weekend everyone!

I've been working on this project for months with Carole and Laurent, the Rouge de Garance designers/owners : "A Workshop with Céline" !!!
In this kit, you will find all the elements to create a beautiful zig zag album, with beautiful papers designed especially for me and in collaboration with Carole, great embellishments, rub-ons designed by ME D and a mini booklet with steps-by-steps on how to make a funky, colorful and unique project ! A class with me !
I couldn't dream of more beautiful and vibrant papers... they were so popular among our French Design Team that we decided to use some of them and printed them on 12x12 papers! The thing is, you'll find some of these papers but with more designs in the kit and even better, you'll find some UNIQUE ones, that will never be printed ! And I can't hide that they are stunning!
I'm SO proud to be part of this project and even more proud to do it with Rouge de Garance...
A HUUUUUUUUUUUGE thank you to Carole and Laurent...they trusted me on this great project and I would like to thank them for their support and friendship.
So, stay tuned, the kits will go out on May 16th in France, you will find them online and hopefully, in the United States too! I will soon do some RAKs on my blog!
And because a good news announces another one...
You will also find another "Workshop with..." kit with my VERY talented friend Karine Cazenave-Tapie, and you will simply LOVE it !
Here's a little sneak peek...
Talk to you soon and thakn you for all your kind words! MWAH!
